ER4YT - O and Natural Wholefood Supplementation

Sunday, October 31st, 2004

Hello All,
I’m new to this group and ER4YT. I’ve not done my formal intro yet, maybe
in the next few days, :). Is not the base of this product (aloe vera) an
avoid for Os?
There seems to be quite a few alternative therapies mentioned here that
appear to be contradictory to Dr. D’s findings. Am I just experiencing
“newbie” short-sightedness, or is this normal for the group? Please, no
offence to anyone intended, I just need to know if I should be aware of
this, as I can’t help it, and read every link referenced in each post (I
tend to be a little anal; lol)
I am enjoying the posts and learning a LOT!!
Warm regards,
Jannette Abel

organic meats

Saturday, October 30th, 2004

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if I need to be concerned about the “naturally grown”
lamb I eat. Do they feed antibiotics and hormones to lamb? I know
that “natural” label doesn’t always guarantee this. I was also
wondering if you all know of a place to buy venison (don’t hang out
with any hunters. Thanks!
Peace, Lisa

Tinnitis

Saturday, October 30th, 2004

Can preservatives in foods/juices cause tinnitis.? My own experience with
tinnitis showed that after I stopped taking lemon juice with sodium bensoate
and sodium bisulfite preservatives my tinnitis subsided. Or is it just the
sodium that causes it?

question about chewing gum

Saturday, October 30th, 2004

Is there any “okay” gum that we can chew? Sometimes, especially after
a meaty lunch at work, I really get a hankering for gum. I haven’t
chewed any since starting this a few months ago. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
E Long in TX

Flax Seeds - confused

Friday, October 29th, 2004

Dear Thomas/Angel, I am confused bout flaxseed. I do not have any problem with
regularity and have put ground flax seed in my shake to gain the benefits of the
oils in it and to slow down the absorption/transit time of my food, leveling out
my blood sugar levels or perhaps insulin response..
I was also advised that ground flax seed - 2 tbls - taken at bedtime had a good
effect on absorbing various undesirable things in the gut including extra
estrogen, an important factor for those with concerns re breast cancer
prevention/recurrence.
Would you care to clarify all this for me? many thanks. Ann

Flax Seeds

Friday, October 29th, 2004

Hi Everyone,
I do not know why I was so dense. I was adding ground flax seeds to
my protein shake hoping it would help with regularity. Finally, some
angel (I can’t remember who) posted that they should be whole flax
seeds. What a difference!
Thank you!

Testimonial - Veggie turned Carnivore

Thursday, October 28th, 2004

Hi Osssss:
After having been a (strict) vegetarian for 30 years, last week, I BROKE
DOWN and bought some beef . . . and ate it. Then, I went out and bought
some more (free-range, grass fed, organic).
I am happy to report that after eating meat for a week, and other
exclusively HB O foods, I’ve NEVER felt better in my life!! Life is
gooooood!
THANK YOU, DR. D’ADAMO, and thanks to all the wonderful people on this list
too!
