Does anyone else have some suggestions?????? I appreciate your help!
Fruit is the first thing that comes to mind. An apple, sliced with a bit of
almond butter would be very filling. Omit the almond butter or use just a
little and it would be healthy for you also. Some fats are necessary and
well tolerated by type O’s.
Pineapple, cherries and mangos are beneficial for us. I have had
concentrated
cherry juice in some seltzer water as a refreshing and beneficial drink.
Dr. D recommends that unless there is a weight problem, we can enjoy a
handful of nuts on a regular basis. If you are really hungry, some good B
complex would help. And of course lots of good protein during the rest of
the day.

am looking to find some ideas of a healthy snack.
If weight loss is a priority, hands down the best evening snack for you is
raw veggies. First of all, they satisfy the need to crunch - a real biggie
with me. Second, they are as healthy as it gets - live food as Axel would
say with lots of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, etc. Third, they are low
calorie and depending which ones you choose, low in carbohydrates as well
which is a good thing for an evening snack.
Which are my favorites? Crunchy, sweet and delectable red, yellow and
orange bell peppers. I could eat a garden-full of them!! After that,
zucchini (yes, raw), green beans (yes, raw) and celery sticks. If I haven’t
had enough greens that day, you might even find me at 9 or 10pm eating a
huge salad with olive oil, lemon juice and ground flax seeds.
I switched from snacking on nuts and seeds to raw veggies and it made a HUGE

    difference in my weight loss.
    Good luck!
