rec: sookha keema nori rolls

Saturday, August 21st, 2004

Sookha keema is an indian dish, it means “dry-cooked
spicy ground meat”. This is a basic recipe for sookha
keema. It has as many uses as the cook can come up with.
I’ll share one of my own uses below the recipe.
SOOKHA KEEMA
2 Tblsp light vegetable oil
2/3 cup finely chopped onions
4 tsp. finely chopped garlic
1 1/2 T finely chopped fresh ginger root
2 green chilies, seeded and minced
1 pound lean ground lamb, beef, etc.
1/4 t turmeric
1 1/2 t kosher salt
2 t garam masala
2 t lemon juice

This message is cross posted from [gallstones] group.
Hi Everyone,
My husband just did a Dr. Clark liver cleans this past
weekend. This is
his second one. He was having allergy problems again, so decided
to do
that cleanse. He said he successfully passed well over 1,000
stones. He
said he feels better. One thing we do after the cleanse is take
large
doses of milk thistle. That seems to really help.

Wednesday, August 18th, 2004

Went to the Health Food Store to purchase these breads
because they are listed as Beneficial to “O”. However,
both breads are made from sprouted wheat, and since
“O” are not allowed wheat, what gives? Thanks in
advance for any light on this question.

losing weight - ILD & ER

Tuesday, August 17th, 2004

I Love Dieting is a wonderful program, not only for weight loss, but for health
gain and it works wonderful with ER.
As for weight gain after achieving your goal of weight loss, during the time on
ILD everything seems to change. All the
cravings for avoids is gone and cravings are developed for all the GOOD foods
that are on ER.
Kathie is so right - ‘normal’ is eating for your blood type and ILD helps us to
do that…..

Beef Heart

Tuesday, August 17th, 2004

I’ve been buying and cooking BeefHeart for the last month
since it’s a Beneficial, I thot I’d try it.
The only way I’ve cooked it …is saute with an Asian ,
Oyster Flavored Sauce.
It is definitely a texture food. But then I’m a kinda “texture”
type person. Chicken hearts are much more tender.
I use to eat chicken gizzards, but don’t anymore.
New beginnings with new foods,
Gaye
