Hi gang! I introduced myself once before but I got busy and went
away…blah blah so I didn’t keep in touch with the list but I’m back
now and happy to be here! I see there is are alot more participants
so I’ll reintroduce myself!
My name is Amanda and I am 29 years old. I lived in British
Columbia, Canada, most of my life until I moved here January 2000
(Ontario, Canada). Although my ills are nothing compared to some of
you I thought I’d share a bit of me.
When I was a child I caught every cold going around at school and had
strep throat about twice a year. My single mom finally got fed up
paying for antibiotics which ended up costing her more each time
since the regular ones would not work and at about age 12, she took
me to a Nautrapath. Simply cut out dairy was the number one problem
(and it was a for a teenage kid who loved pizza, yogurt, cheese,
milk…). It was really hard but I started to feel better and when I

Hi Gaye,
Sorry I won’t be able to make it on Sat. I am out most Saturday’s in the
fall both afternoon and evening, but will keep in touch.

And, Elizabeth - it’s always better to hear from ‘others’ instead of
from 1 or 2 people about a problem. We really need to make our voices
known. Whichever one is wrong - they should give us all a refund for the
wrong one, or develope 1 certifiable correct test and then credit us for
that test! We can’t be ‘on the fence’ not knowing which food list to
follow. This is a very serious problem.
Again - everyone who has had a conflicting serotype secretor and a
saliva secretor test should email NAP “Original Nap-service”

happened.
Just posting to the message boards is not going to correct the problem.
We can all theorize and talk all we want - but still not come up with
the right answer.

It’s an ad for a soy product. Vague references to ‘new research’ etc.
without any details. Forget it, soy is not fit for consumption, with the
exception of small amounts of the fermented version.

Ginger-Miso Soup With Noodles
Recipe Courtesy of Jeanne Lemlin on www.foodtv.com
Notes are mine— Gaye
8 ounces udon (Japanese wheat noodles), or linguine
Note: I’d use Rice Noodles
6 cups water
1/4 cup tamari soy sauce Note: or Bragg’s
1/2 cup roughly sliced gingerroot (keep skin on)
Note: I like ginger.gives it a tang
1/4 pound firm tofu, cut into 1/2inch cubes
Note: Can use fresh thin-sliced flank steak (easier to slice when
frozen)
2 scallions, very thinly sliced
1/4 cup white (sweet) miso (see below ) ****
1 tablespoon oriental sesame oil

Hi Gaye,
It is easy to start a private chat room in AOL. Just go to the Chat icon at
the top of the menu and click it. Then click on “Find a Chat”, then click on
the box at upper right “Enter a Private Chat”, then click on “Private Chat”.
A box will come up asking what the name is. You enter a name to call the
chat and then you are in a private chat room. You tell everyone else the
name of the Private Chat and the time to chat. They can then go to that
Private Chat and enter the name and then everyone is in that Chat Room. I
think that you have to create a new one each time you want to talk, but it is
easy.
Hope this helps,
Sharon (Ontario) Canada
Actually, I’ve been food combining…
since reading about it in the mid-60’s also,
Thomas. U probably recognize the following:
Herbert Shelton, Hays,
and Later on…Fit for Life, S. Somers, Mazel, Marilu Henner.
Only started with Dr. D….April 1999 when I read his book.
Dr. D. helped me tremendously with my physical ailments.
Still have some mild ones.
That’s why I’m going to do as much Hightly Beneficials as possible
