ADMIN: NAP SECRETOR TEST WRONG RESULTS/ALL READ

Thursday, April 22nd, 2004

Please could you explain further as the only discrepancies I have
read about are related to the the Rh factor and not to the blood type
itself. If this is the case then the home blood test kits are not
completely inaccurate. For the ER4YT diet the Rh factor was not a
contributer to food lists in the same way as it is in the LR4YT
diet. Perhaps you would be so kind as to clear up any confusion your
statement might make.
This on the other hand for people wanting to follow the LR4YT diet is
more serious and needs to be sorted out. How many cases are there
with this discrepancy? As far as I have read only one case has come
to light and while that is really one to many lets not be hasty in
making the assumption that all tests are incorrect.
Again how many instances are we talking about? I have only seen one
mentioned and admittedly this is also one too many, humans do make
mistakes and errors do occur.

Go to MINOR ARCANA and you’ll find the ratios there. I never said
that we need a HIGH protein diet. I simply suggested a number. I am
(as you well know) not an expert at anything, however very interested
in nutrition. I’d say that my way of looking at “how much” to eat is
easier for most.

Hi Everyone,

Does anybody on the diet suffer from colitis? If so are you finding the diet helps? How does the high meat content agree with you?

Cheers

Thanks to all who put enough in the subject block so that we all may “screen”
which mail we “must” read. Once I deleted all the stuff about soy milk, and
veggies or foods i didn’t like or couldn’t have, just to shorten the list of
things to read.

Just curious…………..1 gram per lb………….is that true for someone

drastic change from vegetarianism

Wednesday, April 21st, 2004

Hi Cobba,
I originally became a vegetarian because I had been diagnosed with
Rhuematoid Arthritis (it was not what I had expected) and read some
studies that showed that a diet free of animal protiens would help. I
cut out dairy first and then meat but I felt great. I was strict
vegan (very minute amounts of fat) for 6 years. 2 years ago I
started adding small amounts of goat cheese and found that I could
tolerate that. Looking back, I think that the reason I lost weight
when I first became a veggie was due to cutting out the dairy. I
only needed to lose 30 pounds (post baby) and I lost them all in the
first month. I donate platelets monthly so I know that my blood has
been healthy but I have slowly been putting on weight the past few
years. I need to lose about 30 more pounds (I lost 15 my first 3
weeks). I have had no gastrointestinal problems except when I eat
avoids. I find it hard to eat at restaurants and be real strict. I

bacon and aches

Wednesday, April 21st, 2004

hi everyone,
i live in chicago and am farily new to the group. im trying to stick with the
o type plan and am having a very hard time of it! we eat out quite a lot and
often ‘avoids’ like bacon in my salad last night are difficult to avoid. i
had been quite good all day, and when i ate the bacon i immedialtey felt an
ache in my arm muscles. is this a sign of an avoid in the blood? i know the
bacon also had sugar in it, and im terribly sensitive to sugar, even though
dr d says its okay for O’s. Perhaps im a non secretor. ive ordered the tests
so will know soon.
thanks for listening

LR4YT food lists, dr d says that type O’s can eat chocolate, however,
chocolate has milk in it and O’s are meant to avoid milk.

Intoduction

Tuesday, April 20th, 2004

Nice to meet you, I’m Theresa and I live in San Antonio, Texas. I have been on this plan for 6 weeks now and haven’t felt better! I sent off for my secretor test and look forward to moving ahead with the plan. How are you doing on this plan? Did you give up all avoids, even the caffeine? I went cold turkey on everything and haven’t felt better! I’ve lost 20 lbs, but my dad has lost 27 in 3-4 weeks and cheats! Hope all is well!

ER4YT-0- thanks

Thanks for the encoragement and it is nice to have peopke to talk to here that understand this “life style” and whom I can ask questions to! All my friends, clients and co-workers have noticed my weight loss, so of course I am spreading the word as fast as I can! Our bookstores can’t keep the books in stock and I need to get mine back from a friend so I can acess the new food lists! Take care and God Bless!
