Type O, N/S, Soy sauce substitute

An HB substitute for soy sauce in marinades is:
dulse
water
Put in the blender and mix until dulse is well blended. When I did
it, the dulse never completely broke down, tiny solid pieces of
dulse
remained. You can either leave them or strain it. I just left them.
Add more or less dulse depending on how thick or strong you want it
to be.
Dulse is very salty like soy sauce. I’ve only tried it in a marinade
and couldn’t tell the difference. I don’t know how it would work in
a
recipe where the soy sauce was carrying the flavor, like in a
broccoli, beef recipe. May try it sometime.
I like to eat dulse plain, but not too much at a time because it’s

so
salty. It kind of melts in your mouth like cotton candy.
I get it at the HFS.
