Ezekial Bread
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know why Ezekial Bread was moved from the Beneficial list
in ER4YT (for O & A) to Neutral in LR4YT? I have been following the
food lists in ER4YT and I just bought LR4YT this afternoon. I have
only reviewed the food lists and I was very surprised to find that
Ezekial was now only neutral and that pinto beans went from
beneficial to avoid. I was very pleased to discover that there are a
few more fruits that are considered beneficial. I am most curious
about the Ezekial.
Thanks,
Colleen

Hello Group…I am new, been going through the archives, very
interesting stuff!! I just bought some ezekial bread and look at the
ingredients, 1st ingredient is sprouted wheat, I thought this was an
avoid?? Thanks for any help to clear this up.

Sprouting destroys the harmful lectin.

Gay,
Welcome to the ER way of eating.
Ezekial Bread that you get in the frozen food section of a HFS or in some
cities the grocery store is fully sprouted that’s why it is a Neutral. The
sprouting gets rid of the part that we can’t have as O’s. Regular sprouted
wheat bread is made partly with wheat flour and the grains aren’t always all
sprouted, so that is an avoid.
Keep up the good work in understanding this way of eating. It’s helped many
of us feel better. We’re always glad to answer any questions we can so don’t
be shy about asking.
