Acidophilus/probiotics

Wednesday, February 25th, 2004

Thanks very much for your reply. I too am looking forward to others discussion on this subject of (pro or pre)biotics. I can say that after taking the O-type multiple from Dr. D’adamo, I have seen a very significant positive difference in my, how do I say this, stool.

I have just started the probiotics from Dr. D. Does anyone else get constipated from these?

Cliff’s free papers: 13D Misc Health #2; 14D Hear

Tuesday, February 24th, 2004

Hi,
I’m a PhD holistic health facilitator (B+ secretor) re-
offering free 3 to 7-page holistic-health papers (the pair offered
each week), contrasting the orthodox allopathic medical and
alternative healing approaches.
Email me at kosmik@… from your own email address
(not from the ER4YT email addressdo not click on “Reply”) and TELL
ME WHAT PAPERS YOU WANT. Note that as a B+ I do not read postings on
this site. Please do not ask to be put on a list to receive
future papers. I am too busy to send re-sends, so you will want to
print off papers of potential interest to you.
This week’s offering: Paper 13D, Miscellaneous Health Items
(”Smorg #2″); Paper14D, Heart Problems, Atherosclerosis.
Malama Pono (Hawaiian for “Take care”).

“A” tendencies?

Tuesday, February 24th, 2004

I seem to follow more of the “A” tendencies than O.. on the quiet side,
love yoga, not very domineering, more a follower than a leader (although am
an entrepreneur)…miss yogurt … my mom’s an O and my dad’s an A (maybe
it’s possible to have some tendencies towards a recessive gene) - …
interesting that my husb. is an O w/ 2 O parents and he runs a large office,
has a lot of confidence - overall seems to fit the “stereotype”! Leslie

O vegetarian trying to be a carnivore…help XP

Monday, February 23rd, 2004

Hi gang,
I have a friend whose sister is O+ an has been vegetarain, not for religious
reasons to my knowledge, but just because she thought it was the right and
healthy thing to do and is now finding out it wasn’t. Her doctor has told her
to eat fish or take antidepressants. She eats fish in small quantities 1-2
times a week and would like to learn how to eat more meat and less beans,
dairy, and wheat. She has been using the beans, dairy, and wheat to try to
get the protein she wasn’t getting from skipping animal foods. She really, I
believe, wants to eat more meat but the thought of, smell of, and probably
the ingestion of, meat or fish in what would be normal quantities for most of
us according to ER and LR, would be large quantities to her and would
probably make her sick. And the prospect of eliminating the avoids and
getting back to animal foods is overwhelming to her, she doesn’t even know
where to start. Any ideas on how to help her make this transition? Thanks,
Tabitha

black cherry juice in UK

Saturday, February 21st, 2004

Does anybody living in the UK (preferably London) know where to buy black cherry
juice? I have a professional juicer but it is still a lot of work to juice
cherries because of the stones, it’s fine occassionally but not every day. Also
it is not really a cherry season at the moment which makes it almost impossible
to make your own juice.
thanks in advance for info.

tomatoes (nightshades)

Saturday, February 21st, 2004

My daughter has a genetic intolerance to the nightshades, the worst being tomato (and she absolutely loved pasta with Italian tomato sauce!). The nightshade family includes: potato, tomato, eggplant, peppers (red, cayenne, capsicum, chili, ground cherry & green), tobacco (1st AND 2nd hand smoke are no-no’s) and paprika.

The doctor gave us information from a Dr named Norman Franklin Childers, who wrote a book about the nightshade family being connected to arthritis type problems. The food list to avoid is very long!

diet lists

Saturday, February 21st, 2004

Hi everyone,
I have been enjoying all the energy here and the helpful information.
I remember seeing a link recently that someone posted, to access the
new diet lists for O’s from LR4YT. Could someone show that link again
please; I would like to print those lists if possible. I do have the
book but it would be handy to have those lists posted in my kitchen.
Thanks so much!
Michael
