EAR POUNDING
Help! My ear is pounding off and on inside my head. You know how you can get
a muscle tic or an eye twitch but it lasts longer. It feels like the ear drum
is pounding or quivering. Sometimes it will pound so much I feel slightly
nauseated. This started on Friday and sometimes is worse than others.
I haven’t changed my medication or anything or tried any new foods. I haven’t
taken aspirin or anyhting like that for months (the chiropractor and massage
therapists have made my headaches go away).
Anyone have a clue?

Hi, I’m not sure why you’re asking us… don’t you think you should
put a call in to your doctor? I’m not trying to tell you what to do,
but if I were experiencing symptoms like yours I wouldn’t be wasting
time posting to an Eat Right 4 Your Type mailing list.

Deb,
Amongst my many other problems I also have a problem with my ears and am
going deaf due to blunting. This started out with excess earwax and a
constant pounding, ticking and all manner of different sounds. Anything
going on in the ear like that needs medical attention. Although so far
medicine has not been able to help me, I am waiting to see a dermatologist
as the ear surgeon believes it to be due to a skin disease. In the meantime
my eardrum is getting thicker and letting less and less sound through. The
good news is that I can not hear all that ticking and pounding either, at
least not so loud.
I am not telling you this for you to think that maybe this is what you have,
as apparently it is extremely rare, but to give you moral support. Maybe
knowing you are not alone will help. In the meantime do not panic. Put
some comfortably heated olive oil in the ear. This will help flush out any
build up of wax and clean the ear canal. In no case flush the ear with
water. It will eventually only compound the situation even if it feels
better in the short term. Good luck at the doctor.

I will be seeing a dermatologist in Victoria as soon as the appointment can be arranged. Will let you know how that goes and what his comments and suggestions are.

He normally doesn’t read these blood type lists, I do, but he has been following the ear thread on this one with great interest, as his problems are similar to everyone’s so far. We will share his “story” completely when he is finally “cured.” For two “healers,” this has been incredibly frustrating, like unraveling a very difficult mystery and the suspense is NOT entertaining, but rather painful!

A volunteer at the school where I work has been suffering from ear
problems ever since a bug flew into her ear this fall. A doctor removed
it (twice, as some had been left behind), but she has been suffering
from extreme congestion. I have been offering her a variety of
remedies, though I really do think that she would benefit more from
finding out her blood type and looking at the lists! (Some people
really are not ready to change their way of eating for a variety of
reasons) However, she is totally thrilled with the Sunrider Calli Tea
that I sold her. I forwarded the note on ‘ear pounding’ to her to see
what she would say and here is what she wrote:
Hi Frances,
Let’s see… I get congested, then I hear myself talking when I talk to
other people along with drowsiness and pigging out, then I try to clean
out
my ear - warm oil, warm water and the ultimate no no Q-tip - nothing
seems
to help there. Contact Frances and get some Callie tea. Make a cup and
relax. Everything starts to feel better. Don’t feel as clogged up. Have
more
energy and don’t feel like eatting like a pig. (How am I doing so far?)
I
get a high pitched buzz in my ear and eventually it goes away and I am
fine
for awhile.
Thanks again for dropping off the tea. I will give you the money when I
see
you again.

Francis,
Where do you order Callie Tea from?
I’m thinking of my A daughter who challenged me to think enough of myself to go on the O diet when she went on the A diet, only she doesn’t take the recommended supplements, aside from vitamins. She also spent a year in Tucson as a Light (Ambassador for God). What is this Valley Fever you mentioned for all who visit the Phoenix or Tucson area?
I also wanted to thank Elizabeth on the information on pure gelatin and kosher products.
Thanks for the information.

[Peter] Elizabeth wrote in part;
[Peter] Ear problems are often a sign of candida, which goes along with what Frances is saying about cutting out certain foods and doing purification.
Just wondering what makes you say ear problems are related to Candida ?? very interesting proposition which I have not heard mentioned before. If you have anything further to add, I’d be very interested.
Thankyou

Try candling your ears. Go to a holistic, acupuncturist, or a chiropractic
doctor. Call first to see if they do the candling. You will be surprised at
what comes out of your ears.

Hi Elizabeth,
What kind of dangers are associated with candling? I can see maybe someone starting a fire if they don’t attend it diligently or maybe let a piece of the burnt stuff fall on someone’s face or neck, but other then that, what other dangers are left???

Yes, I know what you mean about getting too close to the ear. The way I do it is I take a paper plate and line it with aluminum foil and punch a hole the size of the candle in the middle and insert the candle. With the person lying on their side, insert the tip into the ear and light the other end. Allow it to burn down to 1 1/2 inches above the paper plate, then blow out the flame and repeat the same thing on the other ear. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. . . can hear really well afterwards. I also do this every couple of months. The first couple of times you do it, all the old crud comes out and afterwards, you just get the new stuff, which is a lot less. Your ears just get cleaner and cleaner and stay that way with a regular cleaning schedule.

My doctor put me on Claritin and Flonase. While the pressure in my ears has
gone the pounding in my right ear has not.
