Have Book ……Will Try

Hello all. My fiancee and I are both embarking on this program with
eager anticipation. We are looking for some positive results in the
areas of: hiatal hernia with severe acid reflux, depression, weight
loss, and some inflamatory conditons as well ( this is between the
both of us :-)!
Any feedback would be welcome. We look forward to the interaction
with you.

    Welcome to our group! When I started this diet 3 years 4 months ago, I had
    the worse acid reflux you could ever imagine. Within a month the acid
    problem was under check. I even had to cut out grains to get this thing
    under control. Now that I have been on it for over 3 years, I am able to eat
    a little grain (rice, and some light rye crackers, a little spelt now and
    then) periodically, but not very much at a time. Maybe you could try only
    eating small amounts of rice a couple of times a week. I went cold turkey on
    rice (grains) for about 3 months eating only meat and greens and root
    vegetables 3 times a day. Sometimes for lunch I would only eat root
    vegetables and salad greens with a little extra virgin olive oil and lemon
    juice, sea salt and cracked peppercorn. I was so desperate to get rid of
    that acid reflux problem that I would have done anything to make it ease up.
    I was eating one of those little rolls of Rolaids a day when I found this
    wonderful way of eating for the rest of my life. Now after all this time I

    no longer have acid reflux, overall body rashes, sleeplessness, carpal
    tunnel problems (this used to happen when I ate dairy products), arthritic
    joint pains, and depression. So it looks like you guys will be feeling
