ISO Heavy Cream (was Mom and Dad not giving each
1) What exactly is heavy cream and where would I find in the store?
When I USED to use dairy if a recipe called for heavy cream that meant
whipping cream. It is very rich. I have made ice cream (in a maker) with
2% milk and it works so I would imagine making it with soy or rice milk
would work fine. I ended up making a mess of some pudding made with rice
milk so threw it in the freezer. Made a nice frozen dessert.
