teresa’s advice on weight gain
Dear Teresa, Thank you so much for your thoughts and time. I did do the
calorie intake, I avg. about 1800 calories a day and I maintain the 117 weight.
I do agree with you that I need more calories, however I have a digestion
problem as well. Right now the digestion problem is being worked on two fold.
I have added a digestive enzymes with ox bile and a combination of choline and
methonine. These are to help with enzyme release and encourage better bile
production ( w/o sufficient bile in the stool there is insufficient water
retained and constipation is a real problem). Plus my doctor sent me to a
Shiatsu (sp.?) practitioner. We have made great progress in ‘unstopping’ the
energy block where the digestion is concerned. After my gallbladder was removed
(due to stones and total deterioration of the gallbladder itself, which can be
caused by too little bile) my face remained yellow around my mouth and chin.
This was very noticeable as I am extremely fair. I now have a rosy color
returning, more with each session. (Just a note here, all my liver screens show
normal results!)
Again thanks for your help, on to better health
God Bless, Sandy

Dear Sandy:
I am so glad to hear you are not loosing any more weight! Constipation can
be a real problem. Keep with Shiatsu and all the good things you are doing.
I had to deal with it too. The reason for mine was mainly stress. I
improved amazingly by taking probiotics (I took Natures Biotics) and a high
fiber diet. Meditation and Chi-gong plus salsarobics (I love dancing, so
this type of excercise is a pleasure to do) took care of the stress. It is
important to do internal cleansings but that is more complicated.
Let us know of your improvements!
Take care,
Teresa
