Hi Tracy,
These other kinds of grain pastas need some getting use to. They are an
acquired taste (just as your wheat pastas were in the beginning when you
were forming your own food lists as a child). But believe it or not, the
more you eat them the more you will like them. Eat small amounts at first,
then after about a year of eating the “other” pastas, they will taste most
excellent to you. Good Luck and hang tough!

Dear Julie and Tracie,
I have just caught up on my O digest and had to reply. I live in Reynoldsburg,
OH. I have been on the ER4YT diet for 2 years to solve a yeast problem caused
by too many antibiotics. My doctor is Teresa Quinlin, in Canal Winchester, she
is a M.D. , but works with herbs and alternative healing as well. I have a
husband and 7yr old son that are A’s and my ten year old son and I are the O’s.
I shop at the Bexley Coop and Wild Oats mostly for my herbs and organic foods,
and Raisin Rack on occasion in Westerville. Wild Oats and Raisin Rack carry a
white spelt bread made by the Amish in Berlin. Since I found this my life with
my family on this diet has become routine!!!!!!!!!
If you have any questions, please ask. I know what I went through when I first
started!
God Bless, Sandy
thanks Linda for the pizza recipe,, do you buy tempeh at the supermarket or
HFS? Leslie
Hi,
I’m a PhD holistic health facilitator re-offering free 3 to 7-
page holistic-health papers (2 a week), contrasting the orthodox
allopathic medical and alternative healing approaches.
Email me at kosmik@… from your own email address
(not this BB, which I do not read, being a B+) and TELL ME WHAT
PAPERS YOU WANT (please do not ask to be put
on a list to receive future papers). I am too busy to send re-sends,
so you will want to print off papers of potential interest to you.
This week’s offering: Paper 3D, The Pancreas; Hypoglycemia,
Diabetes; Paper 4D, Self Correction of Some Structural Problems
U vase zdravlje! (Serbo-Croatian for “To your good
health!”).

ABOUT SOY:
The way I understand it now, processed regular soy like tofu, soy milk, and any
soy which is not fermented, is bad because it blocks the absorption of protein.
That
is bad.
Tempeh, miso, tamari, and one other form of soy which evades me now, are all
natural, unprocessed, and slightly fermented. These are healthy and good for
you (I
might add tastier, also), and the protein is absorbed. Of course, the
beneficial estrogen-providing, and cholesterol-lowering features are there too.
I only use
tempeh and tamari. (Miso is too expensive for me.)
You should try tempeh this way: Make a pizza out of it. Place tempeh slabs in
a glass baking dish, oiled with olive oil. Pour on a little natural pizza
sauce. Add

Hi O’s! ,,, curious to know how many of you use soy and how many don’t! I
had eliminated it but when I read Dr. D’s response to the question on
phytates it seemed to me soy was beneficial in cancer prevention and the
benefits out-way’ed the risks of losing some minerals in your intestines…
so purchased some tofu yesterday (since I had kind of missed it!) …. but
now this added dimension of the brain … yes it would be interesting to see
the base changed to type o’s to see if same results… guess I’ll still be
leary ! Have a great healthy day all ,,, Leslie
I thought this might be of interest to someone. Teresa

Subject: MSG
A lot of this info is found in a book by George R. Schwartz, MD a noted
toxicologist, “In Bad Taste, the MSG Syndrome”.
MSG = Mono Sodium Glutamat
MSG has been found to be more toxic than all other food toxins, poisons and
allergens.!!!
Patients have stronger reactions to MSG than arsenic or mercury.
MSG is pervasively hidden under other names and aliases so as to go
undetected.
MSG is a sodium salt of Glutamic Acid, an amino acid and is a drug. It
acts as an excitatory neurotransmitter. It basically causes the nerve
cells to discharge an electrical impuls and that’s the basis of its use as

I just wanted to let everyone know what I ended up taking to the
potluck. I made chili. It was mostly highly beneficial, with beef,
onions and pinto beans. And the best part of all, I can have the
leftovers today.
My friend made tacos. She made the ground beef mixture for the tacos
from scratch, I didn’t get the recipe but I will eventually because
they were great! She made white and whole grain spelt tortillas, and
the white ones were excellent.
Her husband made a white spelt cake with raspberry icing, also
excellent. I felt like I was cheating, but I wasn’t. It was great,
until…..
Their dog ran into the road and was hit and killed. This party was
for their 7 yr old daughter, so it’s not going to be a happy memory.
