Monday, October 27th, 2003

To the tune of “I Wish I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner”
Oh I wish there was some meat in the house
Yes I really really really do
Oh I wish there was some meat in the house
Then I wouldn’t feel so hungover and blue
LOL

No meat in the house, no money to get any till dinner, had to have a carb

OK I hope you find this humorous. I’ve had a long day with nursing 2
children, potty training my 2 yo, etc. etc. it is almost 11 pm where I
live…anyway as I was reading this post…let me get this straight
*All dairy/eggs are avoid or occasional
*Same with black beans
*Same with all grain products (even those listed as neutral in the original
book)
*Since I’m nursing a B child and an O child I also pay attention to B list,
where turkey is an avoid/occasional.
*No tomatoes, tofu, or chicken for me (B avoids) or any products containing
them.

cilantro juice

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2003

Christine,
Sorry about that!
Cilantro is sometimes called Mexican parsley, I believe. It is very
much like parsley except that the ‘leaves’ are larger, flatter, and the
colour slightly less dark…
It is also the plant from which we acquire coriander seeds!
So, it is not entirely foreign to your parts, I hope.
If you can afford it, there are powerful chelators in the health food
store market — people use them to clean out their arteries, etc.
Hope this helps.

Circadian rithms

Tuesday, October 21st, 2003

I am reading an interesting book by Sidney MacDonald Baker M.D. “The
Circadian Prescription.” It states that there is a major biochemical cycle
in the morning called “adrenergic chemistry.” Proteins are required in the
morning to supply the materials needed for the proper function of this cycle
and to create a state of alertness and activity. If instead, you have
carbohydrates in the morning, you will lack energy and alertness and have
difficulty concentrating.
Carbohydrates eaten in the evening will maintain the high blood sugar level
required for the body activities of the night (detox, repair and restoration)
and will also help for a better night sleep.

O-bars

Monday, October 20th, 2003

Hi, does anyone out there eat the o-bars? I need to know if they have any
walnuts in them. I can’t tollerate them, so before I send away for them I’d
like to know. If anyone has the wraper or box with the list of all the
ingredents and could e-mail them to me I also appreciate it.
Thanks, CJ from Albany, NY cjnicholas@…

Looking for a nutritionist in Colorado

Monday, October 20th, 2003

Hi all, I’m coming out of my lurking mode long enough to ask if
anyone knows and/or can recommend a nutritionist in the Colorado
(Denver) area. I’ve been following ER4YT for a couple of years now
and was wondering if there are any in Denver that would help me with
the diet, et al.
Thanks!
