<< Hi Mary Ann,
I don’t know if this list as a whole will be able to find peace on
the subject of eggs. :) My opinion may not be a popular one but I
truly believe that it’s wrong for anyone to follow ANY diet verbatim.
We are all Type O’s, but we are all so very different. Some of us
can consume dairy with no problem. Some of us can’t eat red meat.
Some of us can’t tolerate spelt. Some of us gain weight on oatmeal,
some of us don’t. Some of us get energy from walnuts, some of us get
sick. And so on, and so on.
If you do well with eggs, enjoy!! None of us needs anyone’s
permission. Dr. D’Adamo has never claimed to have all the answers.
He says we would all benefit from seeing a nutritionist, using the
ER4YT program as a guideline.

Experiment with the program. For instance, stop eating corn and corn
products for 2-3 weeks and see if you notice a difference. If you’re
not sure, then have some corn and see how your body reacts.
I think a person could easily go batty trying to follow the program
by the letter. Just because a certain food is listed as an “HB”
(Highly Beneficial) doesn’t mean it’s going to sit well in your
system. Onions give me serious heartburn. I don’t care how HB they
are, they cause me pain, so forget it.
Anyway, do whatever works for you. That’s all I’m trying to say. :) LYNN:
I hope didn’t unknowingly contradict you. I haven’t written the list
consistently, but was following the eggs line recently. I see a
Naturopathic, who advises me personally, with nutritional counselling. I was
helped with a few days of large doses of cornsilk, an avoid. I can testify
it is necessary to personally adapt the diet to own needs. Generally many
on this list, including yours truly is searching for improved function,
health, (me-weight loss would be ideal). Me- mental function needs fine
tuning-(Understatement if there ever was one.) Oh .. I whole-heartedly
agree, not to follow blindly any diet or other program. Even Dr. DAdamo
himself asserts that we are individuals. He only claims to advise generally,
but leaves room for individual reasoning, and variety within our O family.
I couldn’t help noticing the diversity within our group, myself. I have to
take hold of what works for me and leave the rest.
Take Care & Good Luck!
Mary Ann in Fla.
