I spent some time in Alaska around Big Lake area close to Wasilla during May and June of this year. I have travelled to many countries and yet Alaska will be the one that will always remain as the most wonderful experience that I had. My friends from Alaska will be arriving in SA on the 14th of October and will spend the next three months with me. shopping at Carrs was just so wonderful for me as a South African as I was able to find so many of the products there. Here in SA it is not that easy to obtain all the OK foods for us and when we do manage to come across it - find that we pay a fortune for it. I therefore try to make as much of my own products as I can - rice milk, muesli etc using only ingredients that are OK for us.
