The best time for a basal temperature test is immediately upon awakening in
the morning. Shake down a thermometer and place it on the bedside table
before going to bed. Immediately upon awakening, place the thermometer
snugly in the armpit for 10 minutes according to the clock. The normal basal
temperature is between 97.8 and 98.1. A temperature below 97.8 indicates the
possibility of low thyroid activity. WOMEN: As the temperature varies with
the phases of the menstrual cycle, the test should be made on the second or
third day on menstruation. Oral temperatures are often misleading because
any respiratory infection, including sinusitis, will elevate the mouth
temperature while the rest of the body may be normal. Take your temperature
and record for seven days.

Hi all,
I just wanted to answer Lynn’s question(s). I started the type -o diet
because of my thyroid. I weighed 250lbs and nothing seemed to work,I had
horrid joint pain (potatos) and the nutritionist I went to kept screaming
“Eat less” so I tried this and I’m happy to say that I’m down to 190lbs and
still losing.I only have reflux type pain when I eat too much or if it’s too
spicy ( hard to accomplish since I like hot).I’ve found that bladderwrack
tincture has helped with my weight and I do take vitamin K to help my blood
clot( aproblem since childhood) and it’s helped with those spider veins in
my legs too.My father and his father were both type -A ,But the rest of my
family is Type-O. I get flatus with wheat but no pain, peanuts and potatos
cause me pain as do kidney beans and the other legumes on the Avoid
list.Pork doesn’t bother me but I never ate much of it anyway(beef tasted
better).I guess we can all get something from the diet, but you need to find
the balance that works for you.Heredity is a strange thing, many factors not

As of now I haved banned “r” due to their consistent abusive

it is not within my nature to deny people the right to express
themselves.
