eGroups ads

I was not made a moderator until after this date, so never got to see
the notice. The list owner would have been sent it.
Unfortunately we do, using/posting text only messages helps…on other
eGroups that use html posts the adverts are….colorful :-)

Because of health considerations, the only “milk” I can drink now is
Oat Milk. When my nutritionist first told me about it, it didn’t
sound very appealing. But, I’ve gotta put SOMETHING on my cereal! :) So, I decided to give it a try. Mmmmm! I like it so much better
than rice milk. It’s made from oat groats, and the only other
ingredients are filtered water and sea salt. (Oats are an avoid for
Type O’s only because of potential weight gain, but they seem to have
the reverse effect for me. Rice is one of the things that makes me
    gain.)
Thought I’d mention this in case there was someone on the list who is
looking for an alternative to rice and almond milk.
My cats like it, so it must be good. ;) Lynn

<< eGroups is committed to offering you free, easy email groups services.
In order to bring you this service for free, we have traditionally
included text and HTML banner advertisements within emails sent to group
    members.
I just want them to know that I don’t read them no matter where they are, but
they annoy me when they are at the beginning and I have to scroll down
    through them.

I think we should write to all of their sponsors directly and tell
    them that! ;) Lynn

Good idea Lynn. The only problem is that I would have to read them first and
I don’t want to give them that satisfaction.

I don’t mind the ads, but I hate having them at the top so you have to scroll
through them to get to each message. Especially when you have 30 or 40
    messages to read.
