Disability… Maxium benefit

Tuesday, August 26th, 2003

Sparrow,
What is all this stuff you’re posting to the list? Looks like some
of it might be personal correspondence. Not that it isn’t
interesting, mind you, but did you intend to send it to the Type O
list?

Hi O’s! I’m interested to know how long other members have been on this
eating plan and if everyone’s still feeling good on it… I’ve been on since
July and definitely feel more energized. Still have nasal issues, and
stomach queeziness (acid reflux?) and have to do more research on the teas,,
haven’t been able to find Fenugreek yet. Think it’s important to use healthy
external products and detergents… (if anyone ever wants Shaklee items, I’m
a distributor!),,, I’d stay away from any coconut, aloe, etc. in shampoos..
esp. if 60% gets absorbed,,, I don’t want any bad lectins in my head, do
you?? here’s a good item to buy: Terra Stix (medley of exotic vegetables),,,
they are like potato stix but they are a sweet potato and taro mix. (hope
Taro’s ok)… anyway they are very good,,, + a great topping on salads!
Enjoy the day,, Leslie/Seattle

Hi,
Here in Winnipeg, I learned at my local HFS that there is a problem with
stevia being taken off the shelves in certain HFS’s… On the phone
with B.C., I learned that all HFS’s have been given a book with proposed
changes to regulations creating a third category, effectively removing
certain health food standards (tried tested and true as far as we are
concerned) and moving them over into a highly regulated zone from which
the pharmaceuticals and other big money interests can attempt to control
the flow of things… Highly unnecessary I would say — all in the name
of protecting you the consumer — but, hey you know that most of the
food that is being pushed out there is dangerous to your health, and
that while they might take something like stevia (which has meant so
much to diabetics and others with blood sugar concerns) off the shelf,
there is absolutely nothing to stop someone from buying and eating a
bushel of sugar.

ABOUT DR. BRONNER’S, OLIVE OIL

Monday, August 25th, 2003

Dear M. Fontaine:
Hi. I checked the Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap label, which reads:
“water, saponified coconut-hemp-olive oils (with retained glycerin),
olive fatty acids, lavandin and lavender oils, Rosemary extract.”
I’m hoping the word “saponified” means something was done to the coconut
oil to make it good. (I hope!).
After washing with Dr. Bronner’s, I use a little olive oil in the hair
for the best and cheapest conditioner.
Do you think we can get a little carried away with worrying about a
little coconut oil in our shampoo? We’re not drinking it.
I have tied to make Dr. Hulda Clark’s shampoo — I think it is boric
acid water with citric acid added. I could never find the citric acid
anywhere. The boric acid water was impossible. I did use it with
success in my automatic dishwasher, with vinegar as a perfect rinse
liquid.

Digest Number 350

Hi everyone, I am a new member, I have been on the ER4YT diet for 2yrs. I am
still working on my breakfast foods as well. I noticed several of you are as
well. My latest discovery is to cut sweet potatoes into large match stick size
pieces and stir fry them in Olive oil until they are tender. They are sweet and
a good carb for us!
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and ideas on this site. Sandra

Soaps & Shampoos & O Breakfast

About Hulda Clark
I also have her book “A Cure For All Diseases”, + have you made use of the
kidney and liver cleanse that she refers to in her book?
Would it be OK to use her recommendation for cleansing even when the gall
bladder has been removed?
Would love to hear from you.
Thanks

shampoos/soaps

Saturday, August 23rd, 2003

I’ve used the kiss my face brand (soaps and shampoo)… I think the shampoo
had that sodium laureth sulfate in it and didn’t do a memorable job. I use
the straight olive oil soap though for shampooing and soaping and it’s good
!!! Q. isn’t raw egg supposed to be a good conditioner? Leslie
