		<description>Dear Teresa
Just a comment - Aloe is a no go for us O's - I ended up quite ill the past few
days due to taking Aloe juice - caused such severe discomfort and reaction that
I have to go for a collonic irrigation.
i suppose that we each need to get to know our own bodies and what works for us.
Best wishes to all

		<description>Hi Deb!
I hope by now you are feeling better. If not yet, you might try ALOE VERA
JUICE to help healing the intestinal tract. Catnip, PEPPERMINT, chamomile,
fennel or ginger teas could also help. Do not drink water with your food (or
any liquids); eat fresh papaya to aid digestion; wait at least three hours
after eating before laying down at night; avoid as much as possible stress;
eat more raw vegetables and if cooked, only slightly steamed; try to practice
breathing exercises or meditation...

<description>Just for grins, stay away from nuts for a few days and see if that
helps your heartburn. Every body is different, so I have no idea if
yours will react like mine does, but nuts don't digest all that well.
Plus, they're a "mold" food.
Like others have suggested, try to have a protein for breakfast. I
have always done well with eggs, so every morning I have an egg on
toast and it really helps to curb my hunger. If I don't have an egg
for breakfast, I find that my stomach starts growling by 11am.
I read in "...Nutritional Healing" that antacids often do more harm
than good. They relieve symptoms, somewhat, but create new problems
in the intestinal tract. Be sure to take acidophilus! :) (I mix 1/2
tsp. of Intestinal Care made by Ethical Nutrients in warm water twice
a day - when I first get up, and right before bed.)

<description>&#60;putting on very strict type 0's hat
When did bacon become an OK for O's ??? :¬))))))
 &#60;/hat off
This was something that I discovered when going onto the correct
er4yt diet. For several reasons which we won't go into now I was
following the type A diet but then when I got a little unwell earlier
this year I discovered that I was indeed a type O (and a good job too
otherwise I wouldn't have met all you nice people :¬), so I changed
the diet and one of the first things I noticed was how little I
needed to eat. Before it was two large plates off rice and 'things'
plus two breakfasts one at 6.00am and the next at 9.00am, now it is
one breakfast a snack at lunch and meat(organic of course) and two
veg (just to keep the food combiners happy) in the evening.
Absolutely nothing to do with stomach acid and heart-burn, just some
words from a happy rambler. Peppermint tea is probably the only
 &lt;!--more--&gt;
thing I take for heart-burn, not the most helpul suggestion.

		<description>Hi Deb,
Whenever I get heartburn, I know that I haven't been taking my cayenne pepper
pills. As long as I take at least 2 a day, I never have heartburn no matter
what I eat, avoids, etc. If I start with heartburn, I go back to taking 2
pills at each meal until it eases up.

<description>Deb, try switching to some protein for breakfast like eggs, or bacon and
eggs, or bacon, eggs, and a slice of Ezekiel toast. Whenever I am in a hurry
and make do without the protein, I am gnawing hungry well before lunch.

		<description>Hi Deb,
Had you added anything new to your diet right before the heartburn started?
