Question
Hello, I have a question for everyone. I have been doing the type O diet for 5 days. I have a history of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Before starting the diet I had my bowel in good control no symptoms. After 5 days on the diet I am having problems with the IBS. Has anyone else encountered this? What did you do for it and do you have any recommendations. I find my stomach feeling really acidy now too.
Thanks so much.

Your body is cleansing all the garbage out that you put in it. This should
stop eventually, took me about 3 weeks.

Robin,
Dr. D’Adamo recommends fish oils for colitis and irritable bowel syndrome. I
had colitis 27 yrs. ago. I have been on the blood type diet since April
1999. I started to have problems with my intestines about a month ago. I
was having diarrhea, body aches, itching, etc. I took large doses of cod
liver oil for about two weeks, and now take a few capsules a day as
maintenance.
I can’t tell you offhand why your IBS is kicking up again, except that when
you go on the blood type diet, all of your cells are changing, and your body
is throwing off toxins. The only reason I could explain my problem was a
sudden increase in the level of stress I was handling. I would try to fish
oils for a while and see how they work. I also took olive leaf daily while
this was going on. It boosts your immune system.

Robin,
Dr. D’Adamo sells a blood type test kit through www.4yourtype.com (North
American Pharmacal). I had my blood type tested by my physician before
buying the ER4YT book. I had assumed that I was a Type A because I felt
better when I cut back on my meat consumption about 25 yrs. ago. Much to my
surprise, I was Type O, which has a much different set of parameters than
Type A. I would not recommend implementing the blood type diet until you are
sure of your blood type.

HI!
Does any one else encounters the same problems with Ramon Msg.?
Ramon can you change the characters you are using please?
Here in Israel before you give birth you must have a blood test and bring it
with you to the hospital and it doesn’t meter if it is your tenth child, so
no mistakes to be made.
As for the Kelp how many units of iodine are recommended?
Thank you all
