THYROID
THYROID (HYPO) - A large bilobed endocrine gland of craniate vertebrates
lying at the base of the neck and producing especially the hormones thyroxine
and triiodothyronine
The “Thyroid” regulates calcium and metabolism affected by stress.
Can be hypothyroid even if blood thyroid tests normal.-
Egg yolks, molasses, parsley, apricots, dates, prunes, fish, chicken, no red
meat.
To test yourself for underactive thyroid, keep a thermometer by your bed one
night. When awake, place thermometer under your arm and hold for 10-15
minutes. A temperature of 97.6 degrees or lower may indicate Hypothyroidism.
Take test for 3-4 days, not during ovulation time or menses. This test
described by Dr. Broda Barnes, M.D. His book is “Hypothyroidism.”
Blood test will not show unless thyroid is 50% underactive.
