frustrated

Hello to anyone who is listening. I am beginning to question everything where
diet is concerned. Not only can I not seem to lose an ounce but my IBS is
giving me fits. My family isn’t overly supportive. Lately nothing much sounds
good to me and I haven’t had a chance to get to the health food store so
there’s not a great variety of things that I can eat around here. Figs seem
to be hard on my system, ie…lots of gas and diarrhea…maybe I’m eating too
many at one time?
Thanks for reading my Jewish Whine.

Okay, I’ll try to give it more of a chance….I can stand being more of a
fish person in any case. I’ll choose that over meat any day.
    Thanks

I understand what you mean about being a vegetarian, Aikya. I prefer that
myself. But I can live with eating more fish than beef.
As for the weight and exercise, I’ve been starting back up with the exercise
over the past three weeks. I’m up to swimming a mile 3 days a week and
spending 2 45 minute sessions on my cross trainer.
Since my recovery from anorexia it seems that I’ve developed the metabolic
    rate of motor oil.

    Dear Sparrow,
I don’t think I have apple cider vinegar. I didn’t think we were allowed
    vinegar…and I do have honey
I’m glad to hear that someone is having relief, Claire. I wonder if I am
sticking as close to it as I thought I was. I’ve done better today and my
tummy seemed to calm a bit by afternoon. I’ve been drinking peppermint tea
which I read is a colon soother.
I found an article online about IBS and interestingly the things author
says to stay away from are dairy, corn sweeteners and wheat. Is IBS
    indigenous to O’s or what?

My father had candida, and he is Type “A”. He has been on Nystatin for a
number of years to control it. I gave him “Eat Right 4 Your Type” for
Christmas. I hope he follows it. He also had colon cancer in 1992.
Fortunately, it was caught early, and he only needed surgery. I am Type “O”
and have been following the Type “O” diet since April 1999. I have had great
results. I also take the Right Multivitamin, the Right Herbs and the Right
Probiotic. You can order them through the www.4yourtype.com website.
Happy food to one and all!!

    Diane,
I believe you are right about candida. It is definitely a health problem but
can be controlled by diet. Sugar and wheat mixed are lethal poisons that break
down every organ in our body and one of the signs of overload is candida.
BUT!!!! Garlic, colloidal silver (gets rid of all fungus, bad bacteria, and
viruses, including herpes) and the beneficial foods are what will get rid of
    candida, and heal our bodies.
    Just to let you know
    Debbie
