Also Robin..many canned fruits and pancake syrups have corn syrup added…a
big no no. You can buy the l00% maple syrup, and the rice pancake mix. I
eat that on the days I allow myself to have carbs. I eat real butter
too…none of that awful margarine stuff!! It is amazing how many things
have wheat and corn added when it just doesn’t seem neccessary. I haunt the
HFS’s looking for substitutes for my favorite things. Even a lot of hot
dogs have corn syrup and wheat!!! Watch those labels.

I have the same problem. Lots of ads and web addresses. I keep deleting
them before I send them. There is nothing on this
but my typing…let me know if it happens again…if it does, this is part
of our ER site and I don’t think we can do much about it. Anyone have the
answer?

I know you asked this a few days ago, but I’m not always speedy at
reading my e-mail! I think the answer on oats is that if you don’t have
any problems with inflammation in joints, then oats are neutral. As for
me they’re an avoid. I’ve tried having them, and it makes my joints
hurt. Not as bad as some things, but I avoid them anyway.
On another note, someone here had posted about FMS and flouride. I’d
still been having occasional problems with my right shoulder and hip,
even when I stuck to mostly HB’s and some neutrals. So instead of
drinking my filtered tap water I decided to go with bottled spring water
for a couple of weeks and see if that made a difference. I wasn’t sure
if Seattle’s water was flouridated or not, but figured it might be.
So, it’s been a little less than a week and I’ve noticed a big
difference! So instead of replacing my multi-pure filter I’ll stick to
the spring water. Does anyone know if there are any filters out there
that get rid of flouride??

HI NO I NEVER TRIED THIS BEFOR BUT IF IT WORKS LET ME KNOW.
hi everyone
oats. Is whey considered dairy? Is oatmeal okay or not? I have read
conflicting things about it?
Thanks for your help,
Bridget
Hi One and All,
I’m confused! Prior to finding out about NAET on a list I was a follower
of Peter d’Adamo’s “Eat Right 4 Your Type” for “O” types. Prior to NAET it
was necessary to follow this diet due to my food intolerances. A search
engine will produce many hits including Peter d’Adamo’s and Devi
Nambudripad’s site (which is down presently).
Previously I thought the ER4YT “O” diet was the ideal diet for us O types
but now with NAET I’m not so sure! Now I want to continue with my natural
food diet but am leaning more towards foods, which alkalinize the body in
order to reduce calcium depletion. This includes less meat intake. NAET has
opened doors for me that I’m not sure I want to enter!
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Everyone,
I’m new to this thing, just got my book the day before Christmas. I
decided to spend this week preparing to get started. You guys sound
miserable. I hope I can do this. I am not very good at dieting I really enjoy
food. But I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. I quit smoking 3 years
ago and I have felt bad ever since. I gained 25 pounds, I have terrible
allergies and fibromyalgia. I don’t like to exercise and I have insomnia. I
guess I’ll fit right in with this crowd. Please tell me what changes to
expect and how long before I will see positive results. Also what salad
dressings would you recommend.
Wish Me Luck,
Julie
HELP!
I have had gall bladder attacks a few times in the past 2 years. Twice I
ended up in emergency room. I don’t have gallstones, just thick bile. Even
when i am not in pain, i am often aware of a dull gnawing feeling. Eating
something, usually meat, often relieves it. I don’t want to have my gall
bladder out, as I am very afraid of the thought of anesthesia. silly, I
know. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Debra
sounds like fibromyalgia…
have you done any checking to see if your symptoms are right for it?
late 30’s is a typical time to see it too.
there are email groups dedicated to FMS…also great sites where you can get
the symtoms list.
if you need help checking let me know.
also.
if you are wanting to start the FMS troubleshooter diet…
get off all flouride products…make sure its not in your water
system…toothpaste etc. its a big problem for FMS sufferers.
also
i take 2 great supplements called Thermo Lift… and NOW…
they help alot to lose the weight and being so inactive, i have lost 25
pounds in three months.
its somewhat expensive though…
