Digest Number 143
Hi Everyone,
I’m new to this thing, just got my book the day before Christmas. I
decided to spend this week preparing to get started. You guys sound
miserable. I hope I can do this. I am not very good at dieting I really enjoy
food. But I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. I quit smoking 3 years
ago and I have felt bad ever since. I gained 25 pounds, I have terrible
allergies and fibromyalgia. I don’t like to exercise and I have insomnia. I
guess I’ll fit right in with this crowd. Please tell me what changes to
expect and how long before I will see positive results. Also what salad
dressings would you recommend.
Wish Me Luck,
Julie

Hi Julie,
Welcome aboard!!! Don’t let us scare you off. We are not really miserable,
it is just because it is Christmas and it is difficult to stay on any type of
good eating plan. This diet is a way of living and not that difficult to
follow under normal circumstances. I haven’t been good lately and I just
came home from the fourth dinner party in a row where I overindulged and my
stomach is already fighting back.
As soon as the holiday eating is over, you will find a much happier and
healthy group.
Good luck.
Sharon
