I understand a little about your frustration in not being able to find some
of the recommended foods and/or products/books overseas. I grew up in
Africa, and my parents still live there. I was over for a visit about a
year and a half ago and it was difficult (or impossible) at times to find
some of the things I wanted to stay on my diet.
On the plus side, there are sometimes advantages to being overseas:
delicious foods that aren’t so readily available here, and many times,
better access to some herbs and supplements.
I guess it’s really a trade off!
Would you be able to order Dr. D’s “Cook Right” book from his web-site?
Seems as though I saw something the other day about international orders.
It’s worth a try! Go to www.dadamo.com and look for products, etc. I
believe there’s even info. about shipping overseas.
Also, there should be a ONElist like this one devoted entirely to recipes -
so maybe that would help…
