10 reasons I should not have coffee
Thanks to all who gave me input. . . this is the list I have put together. .
.not necessarily in the order which will most motivate me
TEN REASONS I SHOULD NOT HAVE COFFEE:
Coffee is high glycemic which spikes my insulin levels and puts a lot of
stress on my pancreas. High glycemic foods seem to cause weight gain. I
am also concerned about my sensitivity to insulin, hypoglycemia and
potentially diabetes.
Coffee is hard on my kidneys and causes me to run to the biffy (sandbox)
often.
Coffee is stressful for my adrenals and causes fatigue.
Coffee leaches calcium from my bones. My bone scan of my hip has not
improved in three years even in light of increased calcium consuption and
estrogen.
Coffee is anti-vitamin and robs my body of nutrients.
Coffee increases stomach acid and irritates my tummy and sometimes gives me
cramps.
Coffee is hard on the nervous system.
Cofee interrupts my sleep cycles.
Coffee is dehydrating and will dry my skin as well as rob my body of water
which it needs.
Coffee is suspected of causing tumors, particularly breast tumors in woman.
In general, coffee is not healthy.
And, everything in moderation!
