Reasons to not have coffee and food sensitivities
Hi Tom,
Good to hear from you again. Your comments are duely noted. I had not
had coffee for three days and went to get an herbal tea at the rink as I was
20 minutes early to give a lesson and wanted a hot prop to entertain myself
with.
Well, I didn’t notice that the tea had black tea, meaning contained
caffeine, and I got stomach cramps.
I decided to not drink coffee because so many people have told me that it
was not good for me, including James D’Adamo and his partner Dr.
Bier.
My adrenals must have been affected because for the amount of exercise I put
my body through I was feeling more fatigued than I should be.
I actually feel that I have a large amounts of meats and vegetables to
choose from and with occasional pieces of cheese along with a huge amounts
of supplements, I am not too restrictive yet.
As far as developing sensitivities, the interesting part is that the foods
that I am allergic to, with the exception of soy, I hardly ever ate.
The foods that I have eaten tons of during my life, I show no reaction to.
Another theory is that one will develop allergies and/or leaky gut it they
eat just before exercising. I worked in a brewery for 10 years and did a
lot of hard labor and had no choice but to always work hard right after
eating and I never took the food to work in my lunch bucket that I am
allergic to, with the exception of having soy before long racquetball games.
So the way I figure it, I probably won’t develop any more sensitivities.
I also know that I can rotate foods that I am sensitive to in occationally,
which I do. For example I occasionally have a glass of chocolate soy milk
which I buy for my husband. I don’t seem to have any ill effect.
But I hear what you are saying about being too restrictive. So I will try
to keep things in moderation!
Fay
